A global financial services company is looking for an experienced Regulatory Lawyer to join their Public Policy and Regulatory Affairs Team. This is a full-time, permanent role based in London.
Responsibilities of your new role
Your primary responsibilities as In-House Counsel will include:
- Advising on a broad range of global regulatory reforms
- Working closely with External Affairs, Risk and Compliance
- Working on recovery, resolution and operational resiliency matters, prudential and regulatory matters for EMEA Treasury and Finance
Candidate requirements
To be successful in your application to this role you should demonstrate:
- Training and qualification from at a top City Law firm
- 5+ years of experience interpreting guidance in respect of statutes, directives and regulations in AIFMD, UCITS MIFID, CRD, BRRD and DGSD
- Experience working on the establishment of regulatory change programmes
- Experience drafting policies and procedures to ensure compliance with applicable requirements
