My clients forward thinking, innovative and friendly law firm based in Newbury, Thatcham and Maidenhead, has grown substantially in recent years to a turnover of just over £7 and a headcount in excess of 135.

Your new role
They have the opportunity in their Newbury Office for a Corporate & Commercial Solicitor, who will have responsibility for a broad range of commercial and corporate work for businesses from startups and entrepreneurs, charities, SMEs and privately owned businesses, right through to the UK subsidiaries of multi-nationals. The Corporate & Commercial Team work under the Commercial Team umbrella and will report directly to Head of Commercial.

What you'll need to succeed
The successful candidate will have experience with, commercial contracts (eg T&Cs, bespoke supply agreements, master services agreements, commercial agents), mergers and acquisitions (with transaction size ranging from £500k to £10m), business start-ups, restructuring, investment and fundraising, shareholder agreements and bespoke articles, exiting shareholders and share buybacks, shareholder disputes, banking and re-financing projects, governance advice, licensing IPR, compliance and risk management, company secretarial, joint ventures (inc commercial joint ventures, LLPs/LTD joint ventures), data protection, partnership arrangement including LLPs.
