Description

In this role you will be:

  • Acting as an escalation point on a wide range of legal queries and complaints;

  • Drafting, reviewing and negotiating relatively complex legal documentation and standard forms;

  • Undertaking more complex legal research, including liaising with external law firms as appropriate;

  • Providing support on projects (e. product launches, remediation)

  • You will have 4 - 7 direct reports and this vacancy will involve line management and development of those lawyers

Profile

You will be:

  • A qualified solicitor with experience of Commercial Contracts gained in Private Practice or in house
  • This vacancy is at Vice President level and so you will have a track record of success in a Commercial role
  • Experience of management or mentoring would be ideal but is NOT essential that you have experience of managing or mentoring lawyers. As long as you have the desire to take the step up to a team leader role and the attributes to do this.
