Family Solicitor - Partner/Senior Associate Role

Are you a mid-level to senior family solicitor who is looking to move to an established family team? Are you looking for career progression and a route to partnership?

We are working with a Family practice who are looking to recruit a solicitor either at at Senior Associate level or Salaried Partner level (depending on experience and client following).

This is an opportunity to join a small Family offering, with clients across the UK including London. The team act largely on financial disputes and divorce matters, often for high net worth clients. The Partners at the firm have come from big firm backgrounds and have established this niche offering. The firm generates work through reputation and word of mouth.

The firm is looking for an experienced Family Solicitor with a track record of working on private matters and ideally somebody who can demonstrate an ability to generate work rather than being solely fed work by their current firm.

The firm has a flexible approach with some of the solicitors working part-time and the team would be open to this.

The role could suit somebody who is currently at a larger multi-service firm who is looking to work as part of a smaller and specialist firm and who is looking for genuine career progression either now or in the mid term.

Profile

It's likely that you will have at least 5 years' experience practising in Family Law with a focus on private work. If you are currently a Senior Associate or Partner in another firm, then the team would be looking for you to demonstrate a track record of receiving your own instructions from clients. If you are a mid level solicitor looking to step up to a Senior Associate role then they would be looking for you to demonstrate a genuine interest and aptitude to business development.

The firm has successfully recruited lawyers looking to move out of London previously and they would be happy to speak with City lawyers who are considering a similar move.
