Group Accountant

A high growth technology business that is leading the market for intelligent energy solutions, is looking to hire audit professionals looking to take their first step out of practice, to join their high calibre finance team as a Group Accountant. Reporting to the Group Financial Controller you will be responsible for supporting both Group Reporting and Forecasting. You will manage consolidations and assist in the day to day running of the group model as well as working on ad-hoc projects. This role will appeal to high performing and personally motivated individuals who have a commercial, entrepreneurial mindset.

To successfully deliver in this high-profile position, you will need to have:

• ACA qualification from the Big 4 with 1-3 years post qualified experience
• Must have trained in audit or assurance
• Exposure to renewable energy and consumer businesses
• Strong excel skills
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to form and manage strong working relationships

A little more information about the role:

• Assisting in the consolidation of Group results from each division of the Group and day to day management of the Group forecast model
• Support the set up of companies in new international markets
• Supporting the setup of budgets and financial planning for new Group entities
• Supporting the wider finance team to integrate reporting and ERP software to the rest of the Group
