US Law Firm - FS Reg Role- 6mths-2PQE

The role

This would be an ideal role for an associate who wants to make an impact into a small yet collegiate team. The firm act for a range of close-ended funds who invest in Private Equity, Infrastructure and Real Estate. The work will therefore involve advising on regulatory aspects of corporate take-overs of regulated entities, but will also general AIFMD, Compliance and Anti Money Laundering advice.

On offer is a highly collegiate team within an established Funds practice. The team is relatively small and so junior associates will gain exposure to the high-end mechanics of every transaction, as well as enjoying high levels of direct client contact. Whilst the team is relatively small it enjoys many benefits more fitting of a larger firm. Associates enjoy a well-established infrastructure with access to training, PSL's and junior resource. This role would suit a candidate who looking to develop into a well-rounded regulatory lawyer whilst enjoying the support of an established team and the mentoring of the partners.

The Requirements:

* You will have strong academics with a minimum 2 (or equivalent) from a top university.
* You will be 1-3PQE and will have post qualified general financial services regulatory or Funds experience gained within private practice. The firm will consider applicants outside that PQE range if they can demonstrate the necessary technical competencies.
* The firm are open to candidates from multiple jurisdictions. The firm will specifically be interested in candidates who are England & Wales or Scottish qualified.
* They will also consider candidates from regional firms who can demonstrate the necessary commitment and desire to move to London.
