BCL Legal is pleased to be assisting a top UK and international firm with a reputation for working on the highest quality residential development matters in their recruitment of an experienced Real Estate Senior Solicitor to join its highly regarded Birmingham team.

The team specialise in acquisition work for top UK house builders. The successful candidate will be joining a friendly team with excellent opportunities for progression in a supportive environment.

The role:

The successful candidate will be managing a busy caseload of land acquisition work for residential development purposes to include:

* Complex and high calibre work for national house builders across the UK.
* Specific work for conditional contracts, strategic option agreements, promotion agreements, partnering agreements with local authorities, consortium agreements, regeneration matters and large sustainable urban extensions for land owners and house builder consortia throughout the country.

Candidate Requirements:

* A minimum of five years' PQE, ideally with residential development experience (development experience is essential).
* Solid technical skills ideally developed at a highly regarded regional, national or international firm.
* The ability to examine a title and undertake a full due diligence on a site acquisition from the point of view of a property developer.
* An ability to train and mentor juniors in the team.
