Client Details
A major UK project
Description
Provide legal and commercial advice and assistance required to support this project:
- in relation to the management of all contracts entered into by the company, including the resolution of claims and disputes by negotiation, adjudication or other methods of dispute resolution.
- in relation to the conduct of any other legal proceedings brought by or against the business.
- in managing the agreements with the Sponsors and Industry Partners.
- in negotiating or otherwise procuring the contracts and agreements required for the design, construction and commissioning of the works and services required for delivery of the programme.
- in connection with a broad range of commercial and corporate transactions and issues.
Profile
Qualified solicitor or barrister in the UK or equivalent jurisdiction.
Substantial experience of commercial and construction law and practice, preferably in major infrastructure projects and in a regulated environment.
Experience of working with NEC forms of contract.
Knowledge of public procurement legislation.
Advanced skills in negotiation, drafting, legal analysis and problem resolution in a project or regulated environment.
Ability to work on complex matters with minimal supervision.
Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively in a multi-disciplinary team.
Job Offer
£800 - £900 PER DAY
