The Role
They are looking for a junior associate with a credible interest in the Funds sector. The firm regularly advise some of the world's largest Funds globally, but particularly across North America and Europe. They have an unrivalled reputation in this practice area.
The team is relatively small and so junior associates will gain exposure to the high-end mechanics of every transaction, as well as enjoying high levels of direct client contact. The firm have been boosted with highly prestigious recent partner hires and are looking to grow the team further. Due to the reputation and the brand of this team they regularly advise on landmark deals. Also on offer is high quality training and direct partner mentoring.
The Requirements
* You will have a strong commitment to the Funds sector whether that's Private Equity, Hedge or Real Estate Funds.
* You will have strong academics with a minimum 2 (or equivalent) from a top university.
* You will be between NQ-1PQE. The firm will consider March 2018 applicants who have qualified into Corporate, Banking or FS Reg but want to move into Funds, assuming the candidate has a seat rotation which is complimentary to funds law and they can demonstrate a credible interest in the area.
* The firm are open to candidates from multiple jurisdictions. The firm will specifically be interested in candidates who are England & Wales or Scottish qualified. They will also consider candidates from regional firms who can demonstrate the necessary commitment and desire to move to London.
