Legal Counsel

A rare opportunity has arisen for a Property Lawyer to make the move in-house and join a successful services business in Warrington as their new Legal Counsel. This full-time and permanent In-House Counsel role will see you join a small, well-established and close-knit team who support the business of a range of deals including development work, residential property matters and commercial projects.

Responsibilities of your new role

As Legal Counsel you will be responsible for:

• Supporting the business in property finance deals
• Sending out new instructions to external solicitors
• Reporting to underwriters
• Title checks
• Preparing security documentation
• Wayleave and agreements

Candidate requirements

The business is looking for a Legal Counsel who demonstrates:

• Strong experience of commercial and residential property, perhaps as part of a recent training contract
• Knowledge of bridging finance or development work is advantageous but not essential
• The ability to fit in to a friendly, open and very fast paced business
