Associate (2+ PQE) - Structured Finance (CLO) - Top US Firm

The Role

We are working with a leading US law firm, whose London office are continuing to expand in the corporate and finance areas. While the firm are based in the US, it has a full service London office of c.250 fee earners, and it is one of the few firms with the capability to advice on domestic and international clients on a broad spectrum of U.S regulatory and transactional issues.

The firm are looking for junior-mid level associate to join their finance practice, specifically their structured finance team. The structured finance team primarily focuses on collateralized loan obligations (CLOs)

The Responsibilities

As a CLO specialist, the ideal candidate would advise on CLOs, loan funds, loan warehouse and term facilities, CLO platform formation and risk retention capital formation.

The firm represent a diverse global client base that includes some of the largest CLO underwriters (major investment and commercial banks), asset managers and equity investors.

The firm have many of the top-ranked securitisation, investment adviser and fund lawyers.

Market leading position in representation of issuers, placement agents, collateral managers and equity investors in collateralized loan obligation (CLO) transactions. Including middle-market balance sheet CLOs and broadly syndicated arbitrage CLOs in the US and EU.

The firm currently represents over 40 asset managers on their CLOs and risk retention strategies.

The Requirements

2- 5 PQE experience

Trained at a leading US, Magic Circle or a leading International firm
