The Role
We are working with a silver circle firm, who are currently seeking a Financial Regulation associate to join their leading team. The firm deals in both local regulatory matters and complex cross-border ones, providing a full advisory service across the Europe, Asia, Australia and the US.
The Responsibilities
Advising clients on a wide-range of issues, including:
- Banking regulatory issues affecting institutions
- Obtaining regulatory approval for Mergers and Acquisitions
- Working alongside investment funds and firms for raising equity or issuing long-term debt
- Permissibility of investments
- Anti-money laundering and compliance
- Board level changes
- Regulatory investigations
- Enforcement actions
The Requirements
- Experience in regulatory change initiatives, such as MiFID, and in disputes, such as LIBOR and FX
- 2+ PQE experience
- Trained at a leading international or city based firm
- Qualified in the UK, or able to work in the UK
