Commercial Property Solicitor
Magic circle law firm are looking for a Commercial Property Solicitor to join the globally recognised Real Estate team at their recently acquired offices in Newcastle. This is a full-time, permanent role paying up to £75,000 per year.
Responsibilities of your new role
As the new Commercial Property Solicitor, you will enjoy a rare and unique opportunity to hit the Newcastle market and work as an extension of the firm's London based Real Estate Transactional Group. Your core duties in this Commercial Property role will include:
- Assisting in the management of large transactions, including Real Estate, Real Estate Finance and Corporate M&A transactions, developments, investments, disposals and managing due diligence work streams
- Working on the property aspects of energy and infrastructure projects such as land acquisition, pipeline easements, due diligence (including producing or reviewing certificates of title/reports on title)
- Ongoing management work such as lettings, licences for clients and lender consent matters
- Providing support to social housing transactions, primarily reviewing certificates of title and other due diligence exercises
- Direct line management responsibilities for a junior associate and mid-level associate
Candidate requirements
The firm are looking to hire a qualified Solicitor who demonstrates:
- 5+ years of PQE
- Proven experience taking the lead on advising clients on Commercial Property matters
- Experience supervising, guiding and directing junior Lawyers
- Excellent negotiating, drafting and presentation skills
Benefits

- £55,000 - £75,000 per annum
