Our client are seeking a contentious lawyer, preferably with prior experience of working in-house at a financial services organisation, for a 12 month contract role in their disputes & regulatory legal team.

Description
As part of the disputes & regulatory team, the successful contentious lawyer will cover a broad range of legal & regulatory issues, advise on the wider contentious caseload for the business's various subsidiaries (including fraud claims, coverage issues and reputational aspects) and lead teams on the execution of major projects from a wide range of contentious areas (e. FCA analysis, Section 166 reports, HR matters, Data Security issues).
Profile
The successful contentious lawyer will be a qualified lawyer with practical experience of handling a wide ranging contentious caseload, preferably within the financial services space.
A knowledge of relevant insurance & reinsurance regulatory matters would be a real plus, but is not necessarily a requirement.
