SF Recruitment are working with a private equity backed multi-site retail business based in Birmingham. The business in question is one of the largest brands in its market place with an established presence on Britain's high streets. They are recruiting for an experienced Financial Controller to run the finance and administration functions and be a key support to Finance Director in driving the business forward.
Our client is looking for an autonomous and commercially astute finance professional. As Financial Controller, you will be responsible for building a finance team, with a focus on:
- Cradle to grave reporting for the financial calendar produced accurately and timely for use by the business
- Developing key processes and internal controls
- Delivering forecasts and budgets that meet the overall needs of the business and effectively highlighting commercial risks and opportunities
The ideal candidate will be a qualified accountant (ACCA/ ACMA / ACA), with the ability to think creatively, act proactively and a proven track record of delivering in a challenging role!
