Commercial Finance Manager

£70,000 - £75,000 + Bonus + Benefits

This is a high profile role working for a large international market leading business, backed by private equity and experiencing double digit growth with an ambitious five year strategic plan in place. Driven by both organic and acquisition growth with high levels of investment, this role will lead a small team providing analysis and insight that links financial reports to business strategies. You will be required to build partnerships and maintain strong relationships with all senior managers and their teams. You must be able to apply your analytical skills beyond the traditional functions of finance and to bring them to bear on a broad range of commercial issues.

The role will focus on three business partnering streams;
Commercial;
* Planning and execution of the quarterly sales reforecasting and budget process
* Providing insightful commercial analysis to the Senior Management Team
* Liaising with the Commercial Operations Director and VP of Sales to ensure seamless reporting between financial and CRM systems
* Design, Monitor and Educate on value drivers ("Metrics/KPIs")
* Productivity and margin analysis on key products
Marketing;
* Business Partnering Support for the Marketing and Strategy Director
* Provide high quality analytics for the Marketing function to drive better decision making
* Design and report metrics for understanding price variance
R&D
* Business Partnering Support for the R&D Director
* Provide high quality analytics for the R&D function to drive better decision making


Knowledge, Experience and Technical Skills
* Strong analytical and commercial background
* Demonstrable commercial awareness and understanding of business profitability
* Experience of working with a senior management team and influencing non-financial managers
* Successful business partnering and project management experience
* CIMA, ACCA or ACA qualified with +5 years PQE

Person Specification
* Demonstrable ability to embrace Business Intelligence and Reporting tools (e. Business Objects, Tableau or similar)
* Advanced Excel skills
* An outgoing personality, excellent communicator and confident in reaching out to the broader business
* Ability to cope in demanding and pressurised (but rewarding) environment
