The role

The firm is seeking to hire a Contentious Construction Lawyer to join the flourishing City of London office.

You will join the London arm of the Construction & Engineering team of 14 (4 Partner and 8 fee earners). This market leading Construction team deals with both Contentious and Non-Contentious work, you will lead a team on the Contentious side. Their experience of dealing with the public sector is second to none. They advise clients operating in infrastructure, leisure, highways and renewable energy and waste sectors.

You will find that the work is broad and varied, which will make for a more interesting role. You will find that the team advises clients on all formal dispute resolution processes including adjudication, litigation, arbitration and other ADR processes. These disputes are quite often complex and high-value.

The department is currently thriving hence the need to recruit an extra Lawyer.

Requirements

  • You will be a Contentious Construction Lawyer with at between 1-4 years PQE
  • You will have a good technical knowledge with a meticulous eye for detail
  • You will be based in the growing City of London office
  • Salary is very negotiable depending on your level of experience, plus an industry-leading benefits package.
