Legal Counsel - Bath

In House commercial lawyer job with market leading company in Bath.

Their legal team have an excellent reputation, ensuring that the company receives expert, commercially pragmatic, timely and cost effective legal advice. Due to growth, they are seeking a commercial, forward thinking lawyer to join their team in Bath. This is a permanent, full-time role, however four days a week will be considered for the right candidate.

What you will need to succeed
You will possess commercial experience gained within a leading law firm or in-house legal team, likely to have been gained through a minimum of two years plus qualified experience. You will also possess sharp commercial acumen and relish working closely with the business in a modern, technology focused environment.

You will have a Projects or Commercial/Construction background; ideally you will have experience in working with regulated industries. Experience in dealing with external customers would also be welcomed as would the ability to read contracts quickly and determine salient points. You will possess exceptional negotiation skills to deal with internal departments and for future external contact.
