Solicitor - Defendant Insurance - FTC

Top 200, highly regarded firm in Birmingham seeks a driven Defendant Insurance Solicitor to cover a period of maternity leave.

Joining an extremely niche but thriving defendant insurance department, the successful solicitor will be acting for the insurers of accountants, architects, brokers and several other construction professionals.

The role will be offered on a full-time, fixed term contract basis, covering a period of maternity leave for up to 12 months.

The Candidate

• Applications are encouraged from solicitors with a minimum of three years’ PQE
• Litigation experience is essential
• Educated to degree level and having obtained a 2:1 classification and strong A Levels or equivalent
• Experience in a top tier, city and/or regional firm is a key requirement 
• Strong advocacy skills
• A passion for business development activities
