Harper May is exclusively working with an innovative new tech start up based in North London. The company, who specialise in app development, is seeking an ambitious Financial Controller to join their team as it continues to expand having recently been valued at over $500m. The Financial Controller will play a vital role in driving commercial strategy whilst streamlining the financial function. The successful candidate will be fully qualified and have experience in the tech industry.
Key Responsibilities:
- Leading and developing the finance team
- Full oversight of company finances including monthly and quarterly reporting
- Creating in depth financial forecast models
- Implementing and improving first class controls and systems
- The main point of contact for internal and external audit
- Working closely with key stakeholders and investors to offer sound financial analysis
- Business partnering with Directors on commercial strategy
Desired Skills and Experience:
- Fully Qualified ACA/ACCA/CIMA
- Degree educated
- Previous experience in tech is desirable
- Hardworking individual
