Senior Finance Analyst

The role will be responsible for partnering with key business and operational departments and supporting with the analysis of business cases, commercial initiatives and cost control. The individual will develop relationships in the business and be the 'first port of call' for those teams.

The position will also have responsibility, together with the Finance Manager, for driving financial discipline into the Engineering and Operational teams. Reports to the Finance Manager.

Qualifications and Experience
Recently/Newly qualified CIMA, ACA, ACCA or similar, ideally with experience in a similar role.

Main Duties

• Business Case analysis and modelling. Production of options and alternatives for commercial initiatives and strategies.
• Reporting on departmental metrics, including production of KPIs and performance reports.
• To calculate departmental forecasts which will feed the monthly accounting process performed by the FP&A team
• Provide Insights regarding performance ad Expenditure
• To track/measure progress regarding the implementation of change projects:
• Regular tracking of performance, and predictive analysis to ensure that trends can be monitored and risks and opportunities managed.

• Produce the KPI Scorecard
• Drive the Monthly management accounting process working in conjunction with UK accounting to ensure adherence to accounting policy and procedure
• Cost analysis - ensuring that budget holders are informed about performance and corrective actions. Ensure that management reports and accounts are reconciled
• Develop strong relationships with key stakeholders, building trust
