Asset Finance Lawyer

Your new company
Being one of the world's largest global banks with extensive investment and retail banking arms, this client employs over 200,000 people and has an operating income of several billion pounds. To work in its City of London offices, the bank requires an experienced Legal Counsel to join its asset finance team.

Your new role
The team is responsible for the structuring, documentation and negotiation of asset finance transactions across the EMEA business. You will be covering a member of the team's maternity leave and, as well as covering the transactional work, will have additional responsibilities managing external counsel, providing legal advice to the business, developing internal relationships and managing key stakeholders.

What you'll need to succeed
You will be a qualified lawyer with at least 5 years PQE, with demonstrable experience of asset finance / secured lending including bi-lateral and syndicated financing. The successful applicant will be an adaptable team player with excellent communications skills. You will need exceptional negotiation skills and the ability to prioritise deadlines for multiple transactions as part of an ever-changing workload.
