Relocation is offered for this position. The work location is based in West Reading, PA, with occasional travel to other Tower Health hospitals and facilities.

Responsibilities

The VP/Chief Compliance Officer oversees Compliance/Privacy staff across Tower Health and is responsible for promoting and protecting the integrity and mission of Tower Health hospitals and affiliated entities. As VP/Chief Compliance Officer, your impact will include:

* Overseeing, monitoring, and auditing the Tower Health compliance program, including comprehensive education and training and ongoing review of standards, policies, and procedures.
* Ongoing monitoring and evaluation of the Compliance Plan, including regular review of the Compliance Plan and approval by the Board's Audit and Compliance Committee.
* Facilitating compliance with state and federal laws and regulations.
* Obtaining guidance from outside counsel, as appropriate.
* Practicing and promoting legal, ethical, and compliant decision-making and conduct across Tower Health.
* Building strong working relationships enterprise-wide at all levels.
* Providing guidance and advocacy as needed to a high-performing team of professionals.
* Attending Tower Health Board meetings and reporting regularly to the Board and the Tower Health CEO.

Qualifications

* Education: Bachelor's degree.
* Certification: Certification in Healthcare Compliance (CHC) required. Certification in Healthcare Compliance Fellowship (CHC-F) is preferred. Healthcare Privacy Compliance certification (CHPC) is a plus.
* A genuine, strong Tower Health cultural fit.

Minimum Experience

* Leadership experience managing healthcare compliance matters.
* Experience interacting regularly and directly with executive leadership as part of senior leadership team.
* Demonstrated effectiveness operating in complex organizational environments, with integrity and composure.
* Approachable leader with a proven ability to build and sustain trusting relationships across the enterprise.

Preferred Experience

* C-suite experience in a complex healthcare environment.
* Experience integrating Compliance across a growing health system.
* Attorney or Paralegal training and experience preferred. (Note: This position is not a General Counsel position.)
