JOB TITLE: Charities Partner - Birmingham
PQE REQUIRED: 10 years +
LOCATION: Birmingham (Commutable from: Coventry, Dudley, Solihull, West Bromwich, Solihull & Walsall)
SALARY: Excellent
THE ROLE:
Tenancious and driven, the newly appointed Charities Solicitor will join a well reputed charities team advising on all aspects of charity law. The team is well regarded for its representation of a wide array of smaller charities working in local communities through to much larger organisations working nationally and internationally; education sector clients such as independent schools, academies, colleges and universities; social care and religious organisations, and social enterprises.
THE CANDIDATE:
The successful Charities Solicitor will lead the Charities Team, accepting responsibility at an early stage to lead and manage your own, smaller, matters under appropriate supervision, and providing support for other team members on larger matters. The appointed Charities Solicitor will be involved in providing a wide range of advice on charity governance, regulatory and other matters. As a Charities Solicitor you will be involved in charity formations, mergers, collaborations and other transactions. With state sector schools forming a substantial part of the firms work, the Charities Solicitor would also expect to be involved in academy conversions and transfers.
