Our client:
A specialist investment manager affiliated with a Tier 1 investment bank, is looking for an experienced asset management or funds lawyer to join their dedicated team of lawyers.
Responsibilities
- Structuring, establishment, offering and maintenance of asset management products covering a full spectrum of asset classes
- Advising on legal, regulatory and cross-border issues and assisting with the structuring, execution and documentation of investment funds, asset management services and associated transactions.
- Being involved in the full life-cycle of investment fund products and underlying investments.
- Working with other members to maintain and add functionality to existing programmes and establishing new fund platforms.
- Contractual negotiations with internal and external third parties including financial derivative instruments.
- Managing related regulatory changes and implementation.
Skills and Qualifications
- Qualified lawyer with 3-6 years PQE* private practice or in-house
- Experience with asset management, financial services, investment funds and derivatives documentation
- Experience in negotiating offering documentation and service provider agreements
- Familiarity with transactional and policy and procedure work
