International consumer business based in the West Midlands require an Interim Supply Chain Finance Controller for 6 months initially, to support the company with their plans to stabilise their Supply Chain function.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work closely with finance and supply chain leadership to increase the visibility of financial data within the supply chain, particularly with regards to forecast/budget accuracy
- Implement best practice processes to improve the management/financial reporting to accurately represent the financial performance of the function
- Identify and implement performance improvement initiatives across the supply chain operations
- Review upcoming capital expenditure projects within the supply chain to understand and communicate their financial viability
Candidate Profile:
- Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA etc)
- Previous experience embedded within/working very closely within a Supply Chain/Logistics function (International or UK based)
- Strong analytical capabilities, combined with FP&A and excel skills
- Ability to challenge decision and drive the supply chain agenda within an ambiguous environment
