Your new role
A Global Compliance Officer role reporting to the Chief Counsel within the in-house legal function. On an international basis, you will devise and implement the yearly compliance plan, conducting a thorough risk-based assessment. You will ensure ongoing compliance with company policies, deal with an incident register and head up the whistle-blowing programme, which will include investigations, risk analysis and sanctions matters. Additionally, your role will be responsible for ensuring the compliance around safeguarding children is exceptional. You role will also entail building excellent working relationships with senior stakeholders and continually expanding your knowledge of compliance processes across several jurisdictions, while supporting the business in its expansion into new territories.

What you'll need to succeed
You will be a UK-qualified lawyer or compliance professional with international experience. You will have achieved excellent academics and have a flexible attitude towards a quickly changing commercial environment. You will have demonstrable experience in looking after sanctions, investigations, policies and risk analysis matters from a compliance perspective, and while relevant sector experience is not essential, any such exposure will be enthusiastically received. You will be happy operating in a busy, corporate environment within a highly entrepreneurial setting, and you will be accustomed to liaising with senior leaders within an international business.
