Sole Legal Counsel role, 3 days per week, with flexible working

Client

You will be working for one of the UK's leading consultancies.

The client works on extremely high-profile and well known projects and is involved in several sectors and disciplines including construction and engineering.

You will look after the entirety of the group's UK legal function, acting in a Sole Legal Counsel capacity, and coming on board as the organisation's first ever permanent in-house legal hire.

Role

You will spend some time per week working from the organisation's Haywards Heath office, with the remainder spent working flexibly either from home or from another of their offices such as in London.

You will report into the CFO.

You will undertake an extremely diverse in-house role, getting involved in a wide range of commercial contracts and wider day to day legal issues.

You

You will be a qualified lawyer with significant prior experience working within an in-house environment, dealing with senior internal stakeholders and board members, have prior knowledge of how a consultancy works and be familiar with construction and/or engineering related agreements such as NEC3 and/or NEC4 contracts.
