A commercial law firm in Birmingham are looking to grow their Energy and Utilities team with the hire of a junior to mid-level Energy Solicitor. This role has been created due to an increase in current and future work through a robust business plan and is offered on a full-time, permanent basis.
Responsibilities of your new role
Joining a small but growing team, the Energy Solicitor will oversee a caseload consisting primarily of commercial contracts and commercial legal advisory work. Your key duties will concern:
- General Utilities/Water/Energy contracts;
- Competition/Regulatory;
- Industry Regulations; and
- Renewable Energy
You will be working alongside a senior sector lawyer who has a strong client base and connections in this area.

Candidate profile
The firm are seeking applications from Energy and Utilities Solicitors who demonstrate:
- Fully qualified with 2-4 years of PQE;

The firm is particularly interested in Energy or Utilities lawyers who may be working for a large international firm but want to do something different.
