You will lead a team that brings our full suite of Commerce Services solutions and capabilities to market and are a leader that thrives in fast growing, highly competitive markets.
You will
- Be responsible for sales management, managing and overseeing the day to day operations of the North American channel sales team.
- As constituted today, have two direct reports roughly dividing the country in half
- Drive new prospect activity and growth
- Collaboratively work with our Partner Success teams to upsell/cross-sell into our existing base of partners
- Develop strategic plans for both prospecting activities and upsell of our top partners
- Work collaboratively with our Pre Sales and Post Sales leaders and teams to accelerate our time to market and drive an optimized the client experience
- Contribute to our global NPS objectives working collaboratively with all cross functional teams and specifically with our Partner Operations leader and team design
- Motivate the sales team to continuously improve its performance and providing consistent performance feedback to the sales force
- Develop and leading strategic sales plans and revenue targets
- Maintain expertise on all aspects of the Commerce Services product offerings, and from the perspective of any domain: ecommerce, back office, logistics, finance/treasury, legal, compliance, marketing and merchandising
- Maintain expertise on all competitive products and services
- Promote brand, solution and company thought leadership throughout the retail community
- Negotiate terms and contracts with prospects
- Monitor market data, competitive products and prospect feedback to enhance our market strategy
- Drive and manage an accurate forecast, client launches and revenue through Salesforce.com
Your background:As Vice President, Channel Sales North America, you have:
- At least 10 years of sales management experience with expertise in selling to the C-Suite.
- Experience selling into top Retailers
- Logistics and cross-border trade experience helpful
- Knowledge of banking products, online payment vehicles and credit card processing is helpful
- Expertise with all Microsoft Office applications and/or iWork applications
- Expertise with salesforce.com
- Moderate understanding of computer programming and ecommerce principles, technologies and terminology
- Knowledge of the poor customer experience commonly associated with cross-border ecommerce transactions, in the absence of a Global Ecommerce solution
- Bachelor's degree preferred
- Expert level oral and written communicator
- Ability to motivate a sales team to reach assigned sales and performance goals
- Ability to hire, train, and retain a team of top sales professionals
- Ability to cultivate and coordinate internal and external key relationships
- Proven track record of consistently exceeding corporate objectives and quotas
- Excellent computer, presentation, communication and time management skills
- Motivated, goal oriented, persistent and a skilled negotiator
- Possesses a high level of initiative
- Handles stressful situations and deadline pressures well
- Sharp, energetic, assertive and results-oriented
