Commercial/IT/Fintech - London - £Excellent daily rate

Our client is a fintech business focusing on offering its institutional financial services customers technology which allows them to ensure compliance with the ever-changing banking regulatory framework.

They are now looking for a strong and reliable commercial lawyer with an understanding of technology and the fintech/banking industry to join their senior leadership team. Because the company is in a transitional period this role is initially offered on a temporary contract basis.

This is an exceptional opportunity for a senior commercial/technology lawyer with the experience and ability to help drive business forward.

Requirements:

In order to be considered for this role you will have:

• High quality training from an established law firm and/or legal department and most likely 10+ years' post-qualification experience of commercial contract drafting/negotiating, preferably some gained within a "Fintech" business;
• Ideally experience working in-house within either financial services or technology;
• Experience advising on a wide range of legal matters relating to IT Law, Contract Law, Data, IP, and Privacy
• Ideally you will have worked within a similar commercial operation, and have assisted the business to execute on opportunities to reach new market segments, sectors and geographies.
• Strong interpersonal skills, the ability to get on with colleagues at all levels and a proactive, "can do" attitude

Note that this is a temporary contract, and although there are long term prospects (all going well), in order to be considered you will most likely be available at short notice,
