You will join a rapidly expanding commercial team led by a visionary Partner looking to re-define the role of a Banking lawyer. This In house led model will enable you to experience a breadth of Banking related work in a highly commercial environment.

The function is expertly led by a seasoned in house General Counsel who has held some of the UK's highest profile GC positions.His vision is to create this in house centre of excellence, benefiting its team members and clients alike. Having qualified in the Magic Circle and moved in house, the GC has a unique set of skills and contacts to ensure a very different and rewarding career path for the team.

With his huge contacts across the legal market, secondment opportunities will be available for lawyers looking to work in a far less formal and regimented environment, The function will be working in partnership with their clients offering them a service unparalleled  in the current legal services sector.

You will have the opportunity to develop your Banking expertise in a commercial environment and learn from those that have worked in house for large parts of their career. They would be keen to ensure that you stay with them but would be equally happy for you to develop your skills to springboard to future roles in house.

You would be offered incredible support and insight, enhancing your skills both technically and commercially.

You will be looking for something a bit different that will utilise you skills more effectively. This is a role which will see you working extremely closely with your clients in a non chargeable hours culture. This is a very different look at the traditional private practice model. You will either be working in house or private practice. .
