Commercial Financial Controller

Due to natural progression we are working with the Director of Finance for one of their flourishing businesses, for a Financial Controller.

Whilst overseeing a team of twelve including two direct reports, you will

• Enjoy managing and leading all financial and commercial aspects for the business, providing effective commercial leadership by giving guidance and support in commercial decisions
• Managing not only stakeholders, but external relationships, negotiating with suppliers and clients
• Drawing on your financial and commercial acumen to support the business in evaluating opportunities and proposals.

This is a great opportunity for a commercially minded finance professional with experience in managing staff and stakeholders.

You will have the persona to quickly command respect, the communication and interpersonal skills to manage expectations, influence and converse confidently at Board level.

Experience in distribution would give you an exceptional advantage, however if you possess the technical skills together with the personality profile that would be successful in this role, then those with some exposure to logistics or an associated industry will be considered.
