The Business Architecture & Transformation (BAT) team in Citi's Finance & Risk Infrastructure (FRI) group provides a single interface to technology for Finance and Risk initiatives and supports common platforms, architecture and process design. The group partners with Global Process Owners (GPO) to ensure their processes are enabled through standard data and technology platforms. This role will focus on integrating the overall Finance & Risk architecture, determining how to bring platforms together in a single infrastructure, leveraging common services across strategic platforms.

Responsibilities:

We are seeking an experienced Architect who will lead our efforts working directly with stakeholders in Risk Management and Global Functions Technology Services to address architectural issues across key programs and deliverables.

* Develop project plans and drive implementation of best in class architecture practices for key strategic systems

* Address architectural issues across key programs and deliverables, to ensure key architecture and integration milestones are met

* Develop target state architecture for functions creating a clear view for digitization as well as application of advanced technologies

* Analyze problem areas and recommend optimum solution approaches

Qualifications

The successful candidate will be analytical, flexible, team-oriented, and have good interpersonal, communication, and follow-up skills with strong attention to detail.

* Bachelor's degree
* 5+ years of related experience with 2+ years of hands-on systems architecture or related technology experience in a complex, multi-vendor systems environment
* Demonstrated effectiveness in roles as a part of transformational Financial Services initiatives highly preferred
* Credit Risk Management or Market Risk Management Domain expertise preferred
* Clear understanding and relevant experience in risk technology implementations
* Demonstrated ability to support and implement an appropriate business-aligned strategic architecture vision for global process areas across Finance & Risk functions
* Solid understanding of systems, business, data, and technical architecture disciplines, including exposure to such key methodologies and approaches as Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA), Business Process Management (BPM), data/information modeling, Big Data and high-availability/high-performance systems design
* Knowledge of industry standards, best practices and enterprise architecture frameworks and methodologies is preferred
* Excellent communication skills including presentation, influencing, and negotiation skills
* Ability to facilitate discussions and drive group meetings to arrive at consensus
* Ability to work in fast-paced environment with multiple deliverables and ad-hoc requests
* Demonstrated management experience in a matrix team environment
* Team player with a capability to lead initiatives
* Proficiency in all Microsoft Office tools
