We are working with a leading US Law firm who have an immediate need for an Employment Lawyer with incentives experience to join the London office. This will be a broad role, however incentives experience is required for this particular position.

This client has grown significantly in the London market over the last couple of years and they have invested heavily in to continuing growth. This client is full service and truly ingrained in to the London market, however is particularly strong within Corporate, Finance, Employment and Disputes.

Based in their London office, you will work alongside highly regarded Partners within the London market to provide advice across the full spectrum of HR matters, advisory and transactional, contentious and non-contentious.

This is an exciting opportunity to join a leading name in the field of Employment, where people work hard but receive an attractive renumeration package. This is initially earmarked to be a 6-month fixed term contract, however there is the possibility of this being extended or moving to a permanent role.

Key responsibilities as Incentives Lawyer:

  • Drafting and reviewing HR related documents, including employment contracts, consultancy agreements, equity incentive plans and bonus plans
  • Involvement in conducting due diligence on the employment, incentives and pensions aspects of major M&A corporate/private equity transactions
  • Advising on the recruitment and termination of key executives, domestic and cross border reorganisations, redundancy exercises and transfers of employees

The ideal candidate will:

  • Have 2-6 years' PQE
  • Have extensive experience dealing with incentives issues, in particular arising out of M&A corporate/private equity transactions
  • Possess good technical and practical knowledge, with a solid commercial understanding
  • Have strong time management skills with the ability to stay calm under pressure
  • Be proactive, resourceful & take an initiative
