Commercial Solicitor / Legal Counsel

Multi-billion turnover manufacturing company seeks In-house Legal Counsel to join its dedicated EMEAI legal team in Greater Manchester.

A leading multi-national company, our client is a world leader in many markets. The company operates across retail, professional, industrial and commercial sectors, and its products are produced, distributed and sold across the globe.

To support the EMEAI territory, there is now a requirement for an additional In-house Legal Counsel (Commercial Solicitor) to join the legal team in Greater Manchester. This is a superb opportunity for a circa 1-4 years' PQE solicitor to join an established and respected team, and to work on a broad legal caseload across the EMEAI region. The role comes with a good level of autonomy and very definite scope for career progression.

Key responsibilities of the In-house Legal Counsel will include commercial sales and procurement contracts, marketing matters, disputes, compliance issues, HR/Employment matters etc., as well as working on legal and business projects and providing training and guidance to reduce risk and improve the delivery of in-house legal services

Our client is looking for a 1-4 years' PQE Commercial Solicitor / In-house Legal Counsel, ideally with a background in commercial law, gained at a leading national or international law firm or equivalent in-house department. However, our client will also cponsider applications from commercial litigation, projects and/or similar commercially minded lawyers looking to make the move in-house into industry.
