Our client is a Private Equity backed, high growth technology creative media agency, they have developed an extremely prestigious client base and have offices spanning US, South America, Singapore, France, Germany & UK. They wish to recruit an ambitious Controller who will gain exposure to all areas of the business and work closely with Senior Leaders and Stakeholders. You would support future acquisitions and integrations.  Reporting to the European CFO key responsibilities;

  • Full responsibility for preparation of the company and group statutory accounts in the UK, consolidation of 4 European entities and management of the year end audit
  • Preparation of monthly management accounts and commercial analysis/review.
  • Daily management of cashflow, funding and rolling quarterly cashflow forecast preparation.  Explore options to improve cash management and banking arrangements
  • Develop and maintain relationships including bank, auditors, suppliers and the parent company in the US.
  • Management of the finance team based in the UK.
  • Ownership of the Budget and Forecasts for Europe
  • Proactively manage and communicate financial controls and processes in the business and suggest and develop appropriate improvements
  • Ongoing review and ownership of the Finance systems.
  • Statutory reporting and ensuring that all statutory and governance are adhered to including Tax & VAT reporting.

Skills & Requirements:

  • You will be a qualified accountant with a minimum of 2 years commercial experience.
  • You will have highly developed communication & People management skills.  The role involves working closely with senior stakeholders across the business so the ability to translate accounting and technical information into everyday language will be a key asset.
  • You must be able to work to a high degree of aaccuracy, be comfortable drilling into the detail and creating order!  Excellent Excel skills are desirable.
  • You must tthrive in a changing eenvironment and have the desire to gain in-depth understanding of the wider business, developing strong commercial skills.
  • The business has an open and collaborative culture, so you must be a good Team Player.
