In-house Legal Counsel - Investment Management

The client:

A global asset manager who is seeking a funds lawyer to work as part of the central legal team who will look after the UK and Irish UCITs and AIFs working closely with the product development and management business teams.

The role:

The primary responsibilities of this funds lawyer will include;

• Provision of support for the design, development and launch of new funds and management of existing funds.
• Identification of relevant product-related regulation and legislation and development in best practice and advise on how to implement within the business.
• To proactively build relationships with key stakeholders across the business, in particular in Product Development and Product Management and other areas in Distribution and Operations.
• Support the senior funds lawyer in reporting to and advising senior management on significant legal matters

The candidate:

The successful candidate will have

• 2** years PQE+ as a funds lawyer wither within Private Practice or In-house
• Experience of a range of fund structures including Irish UCITS and AIFs
• Experience of fund launches and regulatory requirements
