Our client a PE Backed financial services business is seeking a highly commercial, rounded CFO to become a key member of the executive team, whilst working alongside the CEO in making strategic decisions. The key focus of the role will be to oversee and drive a small finance team, providing a high level of commercial vision to support a swift growth period.
The CFO will be the right hand person to the CEO (founder) having overall responsibility for the finance function, and have a strong presence in professionalising, leading and implementing all controls, processes and procedures in order to drive growth for the business. As well, you'll have broader operational responsibilities for the business.
The ideal candidate will be a qualified accountant (ACA, ACMA, ACCA), who has been a hands-on entrepreneurial CFO with a broader operational experience within a smaller scale business. Having previous experience of working in a PE backed or leveraged environment would be desirable, but not essential, as is working in a FCA regulated business.
