Fford & Stone is now seeking to find an experienced Indian qualified lawyer to support their operation in India and support long-term expansion across Asia. 

Reporting into the regional General Counsel the successful candidate will be a talented, robust, ambitious lawyer with a solid grounding in either energy / utilities / O&G or other compatible areas of law and contracts. Applicants should be able to interface at all levels and manage relationships with key partners effectively, they should also be highly competent in full-cycle contract delivery.

You must match the following profile for consideration:

  • Indian qualified lawyer circa 5+ PQE
  • Fluent English speaker
  • Recognised (international) law firm training and some western tertiary education  
  • Prior experience with a multi-national business
  • Energy / utilities / O&G or compatible industry exposure
  • Experience or negotiating big deals and supporting big-ticket projects 
  • Dispute resolution experience and other areas will be beneficial
