An exciting opportunity has arisen with a global technology company that pride themselves on innovation and defying convention. They operate in a number of product markets and have become a household name.
We are seeking a Head of Legal who will sit in a dynamic and ambitious Legal team, comprising of Lawyers from varied backgrounds, and report to the Group General Counsel. You will take responsibility over the management and direction of 6 Lawyers who are from the commercial, IT/IP disciplines whilst taking an active role in building relationships with the company's functions, including: Procurement, IT, Finance and R&D.
The responsibilities are wide encompassing but would suit the skills, knowledge and experience of a Commercial Solicitor, who enjoys handling contractual issues and is keen to take on management responsibilities.
Requirements
- UK qualified Solicitor, 6 - 15 years PQE*
- Team management experience i.e. formally managed 1 or more Lawyers (essential)
- Any experience in Company commercial, contracts, IT, IP and procurement would be highly desirable
- Worked at a Senior level and has proven In-House experience
- Sector experience in Manufacturing, Engineering, IT, Technology, Automotive would all be highly advantageous but not essential
