Client / Job / Person Spec Details

Role is split as 3 days in London and 2 days in Jersey with travel and accommodation provided.

My client is an established and experienced provider of alternative investment services who are actively expanding their Jersey and London offices.  They currently have a team of 130 in both offices, with the bulk being in Jersey. They are looking for an Administration Manager to join them and will report directly to the Head of Administration.  The successful candidate will lead a team of up to 6 administrators will be primarily responsible for administration client service delivery for a portfolio of Real Estate client structures.  You will manage and oversee client service deliverables for each structure within the portfolio.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversight of the administration client service delivery for a portfolio of client structures;
  • Review of administration outputs for issue or for subsequent review by the client;
  • Oversight and management of a team of administrators;
  • Liaising with lawyers, auditors, and other Business Partners;
  • Responsibility for management reporting to the Head of Fund Administration including areas such as resourcing, billing, budgeting, debtors, time recording, exceptions (client reporting summaries, client service delivery, regulatory reporting) for the client structures and team members under your oversight.
  • Planning and timetabling to ensure all deadlines are met;
  • Ensure adequate procedures are in place and followed; implementing improved procedures where necessary;
  • Ensuring compliance with regulatory standards;
  • Overseeing the workload of your team;

Candidate profile:

  • Strong academic background
  • Professionally qualified (ICSA preferred, but happy to consider STEP or ACCA/ACA/CIMA);
  • Team player with positive attitude;
  • Good communication skills, organised, flexible and keen to learn;
  • Analytical with high level of attention to detail;
  • Able to work independently, under pressure and to deadlines;
  • Supervisory or line management experience;
  • Technical knowledge of Funds and financial services legislation and regulations
