Finance Controller

I am working with a Private Equity backed fintech company; who require a new Finance Controller to join them on a permanent basis and run the finance function. As a company, they have been through a period of rapid expansion (as a result of organic and acquisitional growth). They aim to triple in size over the next three years; and to establish themselves as a leading Fintech business. Subsequently, they require an autonomous and driven individual to assist the CFO during this process.

The financial controller will be reporting directly to the CFO; and working in close contact with the rest of the senior management team. This individual will play a key part in ensuring that all the necessary financial operations (billing, A/R, A/P, treasury, payroll, tax, audit, management reporting, project finance, budgeting and forecasting) are undertaken in a productive and timely manner.

Duties:

• Produce monthly financial statements
• Undertake regulatory reporting
• Support the month end and year end close process
• Ensure the financial transactions and reporting are undertaken to a high-quality standard
• Improve the business processes and policies; to strengthen the internal controls
• Work with the CFO on the due diligence of acquisitions and integration into group
• Facilitate the 3-5-year strategic plan

The requirements:

• ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified
• ​Previous experience within the Fintech space is preferable
• Previous experience of using NetSuite and Salesforce
