Group Finance Projects

Partner Financial are working with a FTSE 250 organisation that has a strong market presence in both developed and developing markets.

Key responsibilities:

• Support the Commercial Finance Director with developing the FP&A function
• Lead all aspects of cashflow analysis and forecasting
• Support P&L and business analysis, working with finance colleagues in group finance, operational businesses and other central functions
• Develop analysis and forecasting processes, including the “in-housing” of certain processes developed by outside advisors
• Support aspects of the implementation of a new system from a FP&A perspective

Key Attributes:

• Spent a significant part of their career working in head office Corporate Finance functions in listed businesses
• Advanced knowledge of consolidations, cashflow reporting and forecasting
• Used to dealing with a complicated business that has grown quickly by acquisition, that has resulted in development of corporate functions and systems lagging behind
• Strong communication/stakeholder engagement experience - whilst not an aspect of the role, experience in supporting investor relations functions would be advantageous
• Comfortable dealing with ambiguity and change
• Qualified accountant with strong academics
• Good presentation and interpersonal skills
• Enjoys working in a large and frequently hectic environment
• Ex-big 4, or large accountancy firm, with Audit experience
