CFO

An ambitious and growing PE backed business to business company with an impressive blue-chip client base is seeking a Chief Financial Officer to take overall responsibility for the finance function. The business is on a strong growth trajectory and is looking for someone to set up systems, processes and controls in order to support the strategic direction of the business as they look to continued success of the business.

You will utilize your strong leadership and communication skills to develop and mentor the finance team. A key part of the role is implementing foreign exchange planning and hedging as well as identifying and implementing KPIs to drive efficiency. You will have responsibility for Client profitability reporting and analysis to determine strategic business decisions. The role is highly commercial and the successful candidate will need to roll up their sleeves in the short term, reviewing management accounts, identifying strengths and weaknesses within the business so as to provide insight into growth opportunities as well as high level contract negotiation.

The ideal candidate should be a qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/ACMA) with strong strategic and commercial skills, preferably within the media sector. The candidate must have a proven track record as an autonomous Finance Director or CFO in a Private Equity and or leveraged environment.
