Management Accountant

A highly regarded and well established Independent Chartered Accountancy Practice, based in the West End of London, are looking for an experienced management accounting and finance professional to take control of the firm's finances.

The role will involve full responsibility for the firm's finance function with duties ranging from the posting of daily transactions and weekly payment runs to the preparation of monthly management accounts and annual accounts and budgets. Other duties include quarterly VAT returns, monthly payroll, monitoring WIP and cash flow and various other adhoc projects.

The successful candidate is likely to be ACCA / ACA qualified or AAT / qualified by experience and have previous in-house finance and management accounting expertise. Previous experience of working for a Partnership is ideal but not essential.

A high degree of IT literacy is required as well as excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to work effectively with the Partner team. 

The role will suit a self starter who is proactive, organised and happy to work autonomously as well as a part of a team.
