Legal Counsel

A leading multinational pharmaceutical company is seeking a new Legal Counsel to join their lean in-house team in West London. This is an exciting opportunity for a junior, commercially-minded solicitor with a keen interest in biosciences.

Reporting to the Head of Legal, the new hire will be responsible for providing commercial legal support to ensure the organisation remains competitive whilst being complaint and managing risk. As a legal counsel you will be drafting, negotiating and preparing necessary contracts and other legal documents, supporting the procurement department, the clinical research team and other commercial departments with contract creation and negotiation and providing legal advice and guidance to the commercial departments of the business.

Ideally you will have at least one years' PQE with a strong private practice background and/or in-house experience in the life sciences industry. You must also demonstrate excellent communication skills, a high level of commercial acumen and the ability to learn new areas of law quickly.
