SENIOR LEGAL COUNSEL, OIL AND GAS, ABU DHABI

CLIENT: This is a rare position, available for candidates looking to join a large and diverse oil and gas company.

ROLE: Working closely with a new General Counsel you will be tasked with both establishing and developing the legal function. The work will cover a broad spectrum of O&G sector work such as corporate, commercial, projects, construction, disputes, compliance and regulatory. It will range from large deals such as M&A with extensive drafting and negotiating, and working with external business partners down to more general day to day matters.

CANDIDATE: It is essential that you have trained and qualified with a strong international standard law firm, and ideally on top of that, will have in-house experience. It is a mid to senior level role and candidates will need 4+ years' PQE. Your skill sets should have extensive experience in O&G and large projects work, as well corporate, commercial and standard in-house work.

It is essential that you are either based in the Middle East already, or have extensive exposure of previously working in the region.
