Parkinson Lee Executive Search are looking to appoint an Interim Finance Director on behalf of a significant financial services organisation based within the Yorkshire Region. The contract will be for an expected 3 months duration.
Reporting to the current CFO, who will be seconded elsewhere within the business for 3 months, the successful candidate will take full responsibility for the overall financial management of the business.
Key Responsibilities will include:
*Leading a highly qualified and engaged finance team of 30 colleagues
*Take full responsibility for financial reporting of the business ensuring that all financial information is prepared in an accurate and timely manner
*Ensure a successful and timely year end process working when necessary with all internal and external stakeholders
*Ensure that all statutory audits are planned, performed and finalised within agreed timescales and costs and liaise with the auditors and other statutory bodies where appropriate.
*Initiate the budgeting process across the business
The successful candidate will be a Financial Director with a proven and successful career track record within the Financial Services Sector. Ideally you will have previous interim experience at the FD Level in order to hit the ground running immediately.
