Commercial Finance Manager

Ambitious ,Commercial Finance Manager to work for this Dynamic Production Company based in Hertfordshire


Successful and rapidly expanding production company based in Borehamwood , Hertfordshire are looking for a Dynamic individual to become the driving force within their EMEA Business Team to lead ,analyse and communicate all financial information in relation to strategy and business planning. Working closely at the tender stage to ensure all pricing within contracts are robust in relation to the market. Be value-add on financial information gained by identifying solutions, smart presentation format and clear communication to business owners.
This is very much a forward thinking role with the objective of making a positive impact to the
profitability of the EMEA Group.

Key Requirements

• Totally commercially focused with the ability to interpret financial data and recommend plans of action.
• Must have excellent communication skills, be a team player, and self-starter with an understanding of team goals.
• Ability to liaise and influence the management and leadership teams.
• Restless, needing the absolute drive to 'make a difference.'
• ACCA, ACA or CIMA qualification essential.
• Strong leadership skills to drive Finance team performance.
• Knowledgeable around UK accounting guidelines.
• Energetic to survive a fast-paced environment, based in the front end Sales area.
• Ideally proficient in Microsoft Office, SAGE, Hyperion and Salesforce.

Key activities and responsibilities

• Responsible for the integrity of the show by show to include short, medium and long term planning and variance analysis.
• Responsible for the accurate forecasting of Profit and Loss, Capital and Cash flow on a monthly basis.
• Mid-month flash forecasting on profit and loss numbers.
• Forward order book revenue including pipeline reporting on revenue within Salesforce to ensure targets are being met.
• Full involvement in tender submissions and subsequent pitches, including working with the
• Financial Controller on Credit Referencing.
• Find and execute OI enhancing opportunities across Blitz.
• Day to day management of the Finance team alongside the Financial Controller due to remoteness of location.
• Ensure CRM/ Sales Force are up to date
• Execute and distribute hard hitting financial reports.
• Full involvement in capex and staff investment decisions across Blitz.
• Manage responsibilities for timely completion of all tasks, 'get it right first time, on time'.
• Help drive processes and operational efficiencies.

• Ad hoc duties as required.
• Actively engage in continuous improvement ensuring suggestions and opportunities are
• highlighted to your line manager.
• Demonstrate commitment to the core values of the company.
• Take a participative role in the Company's sustainability initiative and ensure where possible your actions support the achievement of this initiative; reuse, recycle and replenish.
• Ensure compliance with all health and safety, corporate, client and legislative standards across the function

Relationships
You will be required to develop and maintain positive and progressive working relationships both
internally and externally, in order to facilitate growth and integration across the business.

Qualifications /Skills

• Degree level or equivalent education
• Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively at all levels
• Qualified ACA ,ACCA, or CIMA
• Experience gained within a project costing /production based environment
• Good knowledge of UK accounting standards
• Good commercial accounting ,analytical and reporting skills
• Strong IT skills Including Microsoft Office,Sage,Hyperion and Sales Force
